SILVIA MERLO

Silvia Merlo is CEO of Merlo S.p.A. Industria Metalmeccanica and is a board member at other companies belonging to the Merlo Group.
She is a member of the Board of Directors, the Risk and Sustainability Committee and the Remuneration Committee of Sanlorenzo S.p.A.
She is Chairman of the Azienda Ospedaliera Santa Croce e Carle Cuneo Onlus Foundation.

She has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors and of the Sustainability, Scenarios and Governance Committee of Saipem S.p.A.
She has also held positions as director and member of internal committees in several other companies, including Leonardo S.p.A., BNL Banca Nazionale del Lavoro S.p.A., GEDI Gruppo Editoriale S.p.A., Erg S.p.A. and Banca CRS Cassa di Risparmio di Savigliano S.p.A.

In 2014, she was awarded the ‘Mela d’Oro’ as part of the ‘Donne ad Alta quota’ award of the Marisa Bellisario Foundation for the entrepreneurship section and in 2017 she received the Amelia Earhart award at the initiative of the Zonta Club.
In 2024, she was proclaimed ‘Officer of Merit of the Republic’.

She holds a degree in Business Administration.
